“High” policemen allegedly kills 12-year old child in Karachi

KARACHI: A twelve-year old child was killed in firing of policemen at Mominabad in Orangi Town area of Karachi while the accused police cops have been taken into custody.
According to reports, the child was killed in alleged firing of the policemen, following which, family of the deceased child staged a protest demonstration against the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi has said that the police cops Majid, Razzaq, Tariq and Farooq were arrested and investigations were kicked off.
He added that it seemed the police cops were “high”.
Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen opened firing on a house in Machar Colony of the metropolitan city killing two women named as Tasleema and Saima.
In yet another incident of shootout with police in Landhi area, police have arrested three suspects while their forth accomplice managed to escape.
Weapons, motorcycle and mobile phones have been recovered from the suspects, police said and added that they were involved in a number of crimes.
