Achakzai condemns genocide of Rohingya’s Muslims

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Jan Achakzai on Monday strongly condemned the genociding and brutalities on the Rohingya’s Muslims in Myanmar and assured that the matter would be highlighted at every forum.
Talking to a TV channel, he said Pakistan would raise its voice for the Rohingya Muslims at every level.
He said enemies of Pakistan were against the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and that’s why creating unrest in the region by using different tactics.
He said Pakistan was already bearing the burden of 6.5 million refugees who were from different countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq and others and billions of rupees were being spent on them every year.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan was a direct victim of insecurity and destability in Afghanistan.
To another query, he said United States (US) was trying to hide its failure in Afghanistan and was blaming Pakistan without any evidence which was not fair.
He said a peaceful Afghanistan was in favour of Pakistan and also world peace was linked with peace in South Asia, adding we had always supported every kind of effort and step taken to restore peace in Afghanistan. – APP
