Bilawal renews demand for PM’s resignation


ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari once again demanded resignation of the prime minister and said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has no right to rule over the country any more.
He was talking to media men at National Press Club on Monday. The PPP leader said that the government should inform the PPP about any conspiracy which the PML-N leaders claimed. He said that PPP had faced accountability in the past, and would always supported accountability. He said that the prime minister has lost moral, political and legal grounds for ruling over the country. He said that Prime Minister should resign in the best interest of democracy and stability in the country.
To a question about meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan, he said that the opposition parties were on the same page regarding Panama papers case. However, he added, if needed, they could meet any time.
He said that the government has usurped the independence of national commission on human rights. He also expressed solidarity with the journalists and said that many journalists lost their lives during last ten to 20 years. He said that the PPP would announce its manifesto for 2018 elections very soon,
