When the protesters led by different political parties’ leaders and FATA parliamentarians reached D-Chowk, the police clashed with them as they were trying to enter the Red Zone. However, after some time the leaders asked the workers to return to D-Chowk.
The prime minister invited the leaders including GG Jamal, Shahabuddin, Haji Shah Jee Gul Afridi and others for talks. Representatives of the protesters have asked the prime minister to request the president to issue notification for implementation of the FATA reforms immediately.
