LHC moved against Sethi’s appointment as PCB Chairman

Karachi to host West Indies in April for T20 series: Najam Sethi

LAHORE: Najam Sethi’s appointment as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman has been challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday.
The petitioner, Advocate Nasir Iqbal, has prayed to the court that Sethi and Arif Ejaz have been unlawfully appointed.
It has been stated that Sethi was nominated for the chairmanship by the ousted premier Nawaz Sharif, and his orders have become null and void after his disqualification.
It is worth mentioning here that Najam Sethi was elected unopposed as the PCB chief on August 9 in a special meeting of board of governors at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Let it be known that Sethi’s nomination was also challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) earlier.
