Grossman calls on PM Gilani
ISLAMABAD: The US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossman Thursday called on Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and discussed matters relating to Pak-US bilateral ties and peace in Afghanistan.
Prime Minister Gilani reiterated that ties between the two states must move forward in light of the new foreign policy guidelines approved by the joint session of the parliament.
Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, Federal Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, US Ambassador to Pakistan Sherry Rehman and Senator Sughra Imam were also present in the meeting.
