Curfew in Gilgit to end from today: Malik
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday said that the curfew would be lifted in Gilgit from today and added that the elements behind the violence have been arrested.
Talking to newsmen here, the minister said that the innocent arrested people would be arrested while the main culprits behind the violence have been arrested. He said that no political prisoner would be kept in jails.
Malik said that the security situation has improved in Gilgit, therefore, the curfew would be lifted from today.
