Nawaz should press libel, slander charges: Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik Sunday said that Nawaz league should press libel and defamation charges against him. 

Rehman Malik was addressing a press conference here and said that if Nawaz Sharif thinks he was being defamed and blamed for blatant lies, he should take the matter to the court.

It was the second time the federal minister challenged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to consult the court to prove him wrong. Malik vowed to present evident against Nawaz “bit by bit” to the media.   

The interior minister maintained that they would not be intimated by calls for a long march, adding that, “PPP workers were not sitting ducks.”
