RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army Tuesday claimed to have unearthed a landmines manufacturing factory and recovered huge explosives in Mirashah area of North Waziristan Agency. 
According to ISPR, 225 cylinders filled with explosive material weighing from 80 to 100 kilogram have also been recovered during search operation in the factory.
One hundred and fifty incomplete cylinders meant for manufacturing landmines, 10 anti-tank landmines, 700 pipes filled with explosive material, and equipment for physical training and welding were also seized.
Meanwhile, 853 more families comprising 9239 individuals have been registered as internally displaced persons from North Waziristan Agency.
According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority, the number of IDPs families has reached to 37,757 families comprising four hundred sixty-six thousand two hundred and eighty-seven individuals.
All the IDPs are being provided necessary assistance, including food items and medicines.
During the last 24 hours, food and non-food items were distributed among 1,225 displaced families in Bannu.
Of this, 905 IDPs families were given food items and 320 families’ non-food items.
Pakistan Army and World Food Programme also distributed food packets among 905 IDPs families in Bannu. 
About Rs300 million have been distributed among 24,987 registered IDPs families from North Waziristan Agency so far.
According to Fata Disaster Management Authority each IDP family is being given twelve thousand rupees as assistance in cash.
Similarly, twenty thousand rupees are also being given to each IDP family under Ramazan Package announced by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his recent visit to Bannu.
