LAHORE: The PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Friday asked Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani to step down immediately as there is no legal government in Pakistan after Supreme Court decision.
Addressing a press conference after a meeting central executive committee of the party, Mian Nawaz Sharif said that the prime minister has been disqualified after conviction by the Supreme Court. He said that there is no government in Pakistan as the cabinet could not remain after disqualification of the prime minister.
He said that all decision and actions of the prime minister and his cabinet would be illegal, unconstitutional and immoral. He said the prime minister violated oath of his office. He said that they would use all options inside and outside of the parliament for implementation of the Supreme Court decision. He said that they would protest inside and outside the parliament and even could go for a long march.
He said that the whole fight is only for protecting the $60million. He held president Asif Ali Zardari for the whole crisis.
Chauhdry Nisar condemned Yusuf Raza Gilani for addressing the National Assembly as the prime minister. He said that the PML-N would not allow him to sit on the prime minister seat in national assembly.
