Gilani dares PML-N move no-trust motion against him

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Friday said that if anyone has courage he should no-confidence motion against him and impeachment against the president.

He was talking to newsmen along with the PML-Q top leaders at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain here.

In an open challenge to the PML-N, the premier asked the opposition party to table a no-confidence motion against him. 'They cannot throw me out by any unconstitutional means.'

He said that the PML-N could not hold long march, adding that the PML-N first quit the assemblies and then approach the people for protest.

He said that he was only protecting the constitution and the Supreme Court did not disqualify him in its decision. He said that his son was facing the charges in the courts.

About laodshedding, the prime minister said that agreed with the suggestion of the PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, adding that special committee on energy crisis would meet on daily basis to solve the issue. He said that the present government has added 3000MW electricity into national grid.

He said that the decision to reopen Nato supply routes has not been taken yet and the invitation to President Asif Ali Zardari for Chicago summit was unconditional, Geo News reported.

 PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat said Yousuf Raza Gilani is still the prime minister and those who deny the fact have themselves attacked the apex court earlier.
