One martyred, four injured as bomb blast hits TDPS in North Waziristan


MIRAMSHAH: One person embraced martyrdom and four others received injuries when a bomb blast targeted Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs), who had recently returned to their homes, in the area of Danday Darpa Khel in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
According to sources, explosives planted in a house went off in Saidgi area of Miramshah, the headquarters of NWA, martyring one and injuring four others.
The injured people were rushed to Miramshah Headquarters Hospital where doctors said that two of them were in critical condition.
All the victims of the blast had returned to their native area Danday Darpa Khel five days back.
Meanwhile, the political administration of NWA has postponed the process of TDP’s repatriation in wake of the blast and other security reasons.
According to the administration, the repatriation process would be commenced on September 15.
