Nawaz chairs meeting

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday has filed objections over the report compiled by the joint investigation team (JIT) mandated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to investigate the financial assets of Sharif family.
The 10-page document submitted to the apex court by the premier accused JIT of probing Panama Papers case by violating its mandate.
JIT’s “bias” report should be rejected, Nawaz Sharif appealed the apex court and sought volume 10 of the report which was kept confidential on JIT’s request.
On the other hand, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has also submitted objections over Panama JIT report in SC registrar’s office.
