Protest movement against PML-N govts to start from 17th: Qadri

LAHORE: The opposition parties led by Dr Tahirul Qadri have decided to launch countrywide protest movement against the PML-N government from January 17, 2018.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the steering committee of the opposition parties, which was chaired by PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and attended by PPP, PTI, Sunni Tehrik, JI leaders and others.
He said that the meeting also decided to form a six-member action committee, which review and make arrangements for the protest movement. He said that the first meeting of the action committee would be held on January 11.
Qadri said that the deadline for resignation of the chief minister and Rana Sannaullah had been expired and now they would not demand resignations, but take resignations. He said that the protest movement would continue till the end of the PML-N governments.
He said that the heads of all opposition parties including Asif Ali Zardari, Imran Khan have been invited to join the launching of the movement.
