GHALANAI: The political administration Friday imposed curfew in Mohmand Agency after information about presence of six suicide bombers in the agency.
According to local administration, the curfew was imposed as a preventative measure as the agency had been at security risk for quite some time now.
The security forces have received shoot at sight orders regarding the bombers.
Educational institutions, offices and market places were closed down after the curfew was imposed and a blanket ban was placed on any social activity.
The agency headquarters hospital and medical clinics were also closed.
