BADIN: At least ten people were killed and 35 others sustained injuries when a Karachi bound passenger coach turned turtle and plunged into a roadside ravine at Morjhar near Badin here on Friday morning.
According to police sources, the incident occurred due to over speeding.
Another 35 were injured in the accident.
The coach was travelling from Islamkot to Karachi when its tie rod broke in the Morjhar area near Badin, causing it to overturn. A tie rod is part of a vehicle’s steering mechanism.
Ten of those injured in the accident are in critical condition, according to rescue workers.
