QUETTA— At least 12 passengers were killed and several others injured after a passenger van fell into a ravine in Akhtarzai Adwala near Saifullah Fort on Wednesday.
As per details, the passenger van travelling from Loralai to Zhob before meeting the horrific accident.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Rescue workers stated that people are still trapped in the van, while Levies staff have been called in for rescue operations. The rescue and police confirmed that 12 passengers were killed in unfortunate accident.
Conditions of some of the injured said to be critical, therefore, according to officials, the number of casualties could rise.
Following the accident, the local administration and staff of the nearby hospital have been placed on high alert.

The passenger bus, which was going to Rawalpindi from Gilgit, went over the edge and fell into a ravine, instantly killing three passengers.
