2 including Traffic Warden killed in firing incident in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A traffic warden and a passerby were killed in a firing incident near committee chowk in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan Police station here on Tuesday.
According to details, A Honda Car Reg No AGW- 783 Islamabad was stopped by traffic warden Shahid Sarwar near committee chowk.
After exchanging harsh words with the warden, the culprit sitting in car started opened fire with 12 bore repeater.
Resultantly, one passerby was killed on the spot while the traffic warden sustained injured and was shifted to DHQ where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to Police, the culprit has been arrested and investigations are underway. – APP
