QUETTA: As many as four dead bodies have been pulled out from beneath the debris of a coal mine in Sanjeedi area of Quetta on Sunday.
According to media reports, the rescue operation – kicked off after part of the mine collapsed due to an explosion caused by gas accumulation – has been completed and four dead bodies of colliers have been pulled out.
Three of the deceased colliers were stated to be hailing from Shangla area of Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while one belonged to Mastung area of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Mines Inspector has confirmed that the operation had been completed and three inter linked mines with the affected mine had been sealed.
