ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the opposition senators was attended by 56 members of the Senate here on Monday, which discussed strategy for no-trust motion against chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani.
The meeting was chaired by opposition leader in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq and opposition leader in National Assembly Mian Shahbaz Sharif. The meeting discussed the strategy for the success of the opposition’s no-confidence motion against chairman Senate.
The meeting was attended by 56 senators of the opposition parties. The meeting was also attended by seven members of the National Assembly.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif aid it was waste of time to talk about Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said Imran Khan had no idea regarding the problems of the people as he just wanted to send the people to jails.
“The incumbent government does not know anything except for the politics of revenge. It has become difficult for common man to make ends meet because roti and naan are being sold for Rs15 and Rs20 respectively.”
“Factories are shut down, laborers are unemployed, employees are being terminated, medicines are not available and inflation has surged.”
