ISLAMABAD: Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Omar Zakhelwal held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Islamabad, the Ambassador said in a tweet.
According to Zakhilwal’s statement on social media website; the recently held peace conference in Islamabad, bilateral relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan and matters related to Pak-Afghan border were discussed in the meeting.
The Afghan Ambassador said he discussed in details important matters of both the countries – including peace conference in Kabul and challenges on border – with General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Zakhiwal added that he also discussed the transportation of trade items with General Bajwa in the meeting.
