PESHAWAR: Special Police Unit Peshawar Wednesday arrested an alleged terrorist from Kohat road.
According to a statement issued by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), accused Kifayat had planted explosive material for targeting Fazl Malik in Adezai area in 2010, which were defused by bomb disposal squad before the explosion.
The accused was booked by Matani police station under ATA and was declared proclaimed offender. The statement claimed that the accused belonged to a banned outfit. He was shifted to unknown location for further interrogation.
