SC rejects Sheikh Rasheed’s plea against elections’ postponement in NA-60

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, his nephew and others have been booked for violating ban on fireworks.
According to details, at least 23 suspects including Rasheed, his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafique and 15 others have been nominated in the First Information Report (FIR).
The case was registered under section 285 and 286 maintaining that the the suspects displayed fireworks in Union Council 40 of NA-60 and NA-62 in Talwara Bazaar.
