LAHORE: An Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) court extended judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah as of August 9 in a narcotics recovery case on Monday.
Rana Sanaullah was produced before the court in connection with his alleged involvement in a narcotics smuggling case.
The PML-N leader requested the judge for provision of domestic meal in jail upon which the court directed Rana Sanaullah to file an application in this regard.
Later the judge extended his 12-day physical remand.
PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif also reached the court’s premises to meet and inquire after Rana Sanaullah.
Speaking to reporters, Shehbaz said he had met Rana Sanaullah being party leader and that he had to face difficulty to see him.
“My vehicle was stopped at the main entry of the court so I walked to the court to see Rana Sanaullah.
