Another Dengue patient dies, death toll rises 35 in KP

56 new dengue cases reported during 24 hours in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: Another patient died here on Tuesday due to dengue, raising the total death toll because of the mosquito borne disease to 35 in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
According to Dengue Response Unit of Health Department, the deceased, Ghulam Farooq son of Ghulam Nabi Umar (55 years age) was admitted to Khyber Teaching hospital on September 20, last. The deceased was dweller of Shaheed Abad area in Nothia Payan.
On Tuesday (September 26) around 1542 dengue tests were conducted out of which 266 were found affected from the disease.
A total of 96 persons were admitted today in hospital for treatment raising the total number of dengue patients getting treatment in different hospitals to 290.
About 117 patients were discharged today from different hospitals after improvement in there conditions.
