CHARSADDA: Another suspect in the lynching of Mashal Khan, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), has been arrested here on Saturday.
The total number of arrested suspects has risen to 57 while 59 suspects have been identified as yet.
Suspect Hammad Ahmed was a student of Zoology at the AWKUM. He was presented in a special Anti-Terrorism Court, which remanded him into four-day police custody.
Three other suspects, including a lecturer at a college, arrested earlier were also presented in court after expiration of their remand. The court sent them into judicial remand as the suspects have denied the charges.
Mashal Khan, a student of AWKUM, was lynched by an angry mob after being accused of blasphemy.
