ISLAMABAD: Anti-polio drive has began in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Fata and other parts of the country on Monday.
In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and FATA, four-day anti polio campaign is being started, to vaccinate six point six million children against the crippling disease.
In Punjab, four-day anti polio campaign is being started in Sarghoda, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari Khanewal, Hafizabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawal-nagar and Rajanpur districts.
In Balochistan, more than 2.4 million children less than the age of five years will be administered anti-polio drops.
In Gilgit Baltistan, over two hundred forty three thousand children will be administered anti polio drops during the campaign.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, total of 7,48,948 children will be administered anti polio and Vitamin A drops.
Strict security arrangements are being made to avoid any untoward incident.
