RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid rich tribute to Additional Inspector General Headquarters Ashraf Noor who was killed in a terrorist incident in Peshawar on Friday morning.
Police official was on his way to office when a suicide bomber rammed his motorbike into his vehicle, killing him and injuring six others in Hayatabad near Zarghooni Masjid in the vicinity of Tatara Park.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on its Twitter handle, “Salute to supreme sacrifice of our Police comrade AIG Noor. Our determination remains undeterred against threats to our motherland. COAS.”
