Asfandyar to meet Bilawal to discuss JUI-F's Azadi March

ISLAMABAD: Amidst escalating political efforts for giving tough time to the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the opposition parties have increased their meetings in a bid to form a joint strategy and in the latest of such gatherings, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday will meet the President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali Khan.
Today’s meeting comes with a primary discussion on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur-Rehman’s proposed anti-government ‘Azadi March’ and a possible lockdown of the federal capital on October 27.
Besides, the sources familiar with the matter told the media that the two leaders of opposition parties will exchange their views on the current political scenario and economic state of the country.
Importantly, the meeting is also scheduled to examine Kashmir dispute with India, Afghan peace process and other regional issues.
