PESHAWAR: The focal person of Prime Minister Imran Khan on anti-polio Babar-bin-Ata said that administrating polio on gunpoint for 25 years have created anti-polio sentiments among the parents and now awareness regarding the value of the polio drops should be created among them and they would not be punished.
After Inaugurating the anti-polio drive in the most affected area by polio, Mashy Khel, Peshawar, talking to Abbatkk News he said that in the areas some elements had run the negative campaign against polio vaccination that severely hampered the anti-polio drive.
“InshaAllah today’s inauguration by vaccinating the same children and the same man, that started marks a new beginning of the Naya Polio Programme that is not based on force & coercion but is on dialogue,” he said.
