Benazir murder case: LHC accepts petitions against house arrest for hearing

RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench Thursday accepted the petitions filed by three persons, who were acquitted in Benazir Bhutto murder case, against their house arrest for hearing.
The petitioners, namely Sher Zaman, Hasnain Gul and Rafaqat Hussain, stated that despite their acquittal by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Rawalpindi on August 31, they were house arrested.
The court while hearing the petitions has sought reply from Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner on October 10.
