Bilawal Bhutto demands elections in 90 days

PPP Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condemned the Punjab government’s action against PPP leader and former MPA from Layyah Chaudhry Ashfaq as the authorities registered another case against him on Saturday.

The first case was registered against Ashfaq on Friday for blocking a road while leading a protest against the influential for torturing locals a couple of days ago. Accordingly, he was arrested.

On Saturday, the police registered another case against Ashfaq and his supporters for illegally occupying land.

In reaction, Bilawal Bhutto condemned the arrest of Ashfaq for leading a peaceful protest.

He regretted the arrests of those who staged peaceful protests against the PTI government in Punjab.
