Bilawal says waiting for Zardari’s green signal to topple PTI’s govt

Bilawal condemns NAB raid on Shehbaz Sharif’s residence

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed that if former president Asif Ali Zardari permits he can topple the PTI’s government within a week.
Talking to newsmen after offering condolence to the family of late Syed Ali Raza Abidi, the PPP chairman said that the PTI did not even know simple math. “I have got 99 seats in Sindh. They need 49 members to topple the Sindh government,” he remarked.
“They have a majority of only six seats in the centre and an even smaller majority in Punjab. If Zardari allows us, we can dislodge them and send them behind bars.”
The PP chief once again rejected the JIT report as ‘a pack of lies and fabrication’, saying that they would challenge the JIT report before the court of law. He said that the JTI-govt’s nexus had been exposed.
He backed the chief minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and said, “the people of Sindh won’t let the chief minster changed.”
Meanwhile, the PML-N leader Rana Tanveer supported the PPP chairman’s statement, saying that the PTI’s allied parties were ready to quit the government. He said that some PTI and allied parties MNAs were in contact with the opposition for toppling the federal government.
