MINGORA: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Wednesday sentenced a blasphemy accused to life imprisonment and Rs0.3 million fine in Swat.
According to Khyber News correspondent, Mohammad Amin was accused of ‘desecrating Quran’ in Chitral few months ago. The police had arrested the accused. Swat-based ATC was hearing the case.
The court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and fined him Rs30,0000.
