PESHAWAR: Boundary wall was damaged in an IED blast targeting a girls public school in the remote village of Hassokhel, North Waziristan here on Thursday.
Local political administration said it was unaware of the militant strike.
Two days ago on May 7, a school was bombed in Mir Ali.
According to local tribes, militants have been distributing pamphlets demanding the authorities to shut down girls’ schools in the area and threatening pro-government tribal leaders.
