QUETTA: A bomb hit a parking area under an overhead bridge in southwest Pakistan Friday, injuring two person and destroying a couple of cars beyond recognition, police said.
"The bomb, which went off on Double Road near a hospital in the centre of Quetta city, was planted in a fruit crate," police told Samaa.
Police are not sure what Further investigation is underway.
Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan province, home to a long-running nationalist insurgency aimed at seeking greater control over the province’s rich oil, gas and mineral resources.
On Sunday, June 7, a bomb went off during rush hours in Bach Khan square, killing one person and injuring eight more.
