MIRANSHAH: One person was injured in a bomb blast in Mir Ali sub-division of North Waziristan tribal district on Thursday, official sources said.
The sources said the blast took place in Khadi market in which the watchman of the market was injured. The injured watchman was taken to hospital. The condition of the injured watchman was stated to be critical.
The security forces cordoned off the entire area after the blast and launched search operation. However, no arrest was made in the search operation. No banned outfit has claimed responsibility of the blast.
The blast in Mir Ali market happened two days after four persons lost their lives and eight others sustained injuries in two separate landmine blasts in North and South Waziristan tribal districts.
