Cabinet approves removal of Bilawal, Murad Ali Shah’s names from ECL


ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet Thursday decided to remove the names of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah from Exit Control List (ECL)
The federal cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, which decided to implement the Supreme Court’s decision in fake accounts case.
According to reports, the cabinet approved removal of the names of the chief minister Sindh and chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zadari from the ECL .
A special committee formed for reviewing names of people on ECL briefed the cabinet while the law minister briefed the cabinet over the legal aspects of the Supreme Court’s verdict. The minister said that its constitutional responsibility of the government to implement the Supreme Court’s verdict.
The cabinet also discussed the current political, economic and energy situation in the country.
The cabinet was also briefed on the supply and demand and prices of the cement industry.
