ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and disgruntled leader of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar on Saturday announced to contest election from another constituency.
Chaudhry Nisar announced to contest election from another constituency NA-63 Taxila.
He said that he had not yet decided to contest election from the provincial assembly’s seat of NA-63 Taxila constituency.
Meanwhile, Nisar has been quietly working on a plan to contest upcoming elections as an independent candidate. He also shared a survey conducted in his native constituency with his close friends, which suggested that at least 70 percent of the area voters wanted Nisar to contest the next elections as an independent candidate.
