China reaffirms support to Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir


NEW YORK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in New York on Wednesday and discussed matters of bilateral interest and regional situation.
The Prime Minister appraised Li Keqiang about the Indian forces atrocities in the Occupied Kashmir. He also welcomed China’s statement about the Indian forces brutalities in the Held Kashmir.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He said peaceful neighborhood is our vision. He said Pakistan is committed for peace and stability in the region.
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressed confidence on the pace of development in Pak-China relations.
The Prime Minister said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is underway successfully and achieving the desired targets. He said the network of the terrorists have been broken.
Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan and China are Iron Brothers. He said Pakistan-China relations have taken a new turn.
The Prime Minister condoled with his Chinese counterpart over the loss of precious lives in the recent floods in China.
The Prime Minister thanked the Chinese Premier for understanding Pakistan’s stance in the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang said we stands by Pakistan and will continue to raise our voice in Pakistan’s support at every forum.
Chinese Premier said we attach great importance to Pakistan’s position on Kashmir. He expressed the hope that there will be better understanding of Pakistani position on Kashmir by the international community.
Li Keqiang said Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism. He expressed the hope that the situation between India and Pakistan will not escalate. He said China is ready to play constructive role in improvement of relations between Pakistan and India.
He thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for investing huge resources for the safety and security of Chinese personnel in Pakistan. He said the facilities provided at Gwadar will be enhanced.
