CJP Saqib Nisar regrets lack of facilities in Mansehra

Fully independent police force vital to ensure rule of law: CJP

MANSEHRA: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday expressed disappointment over lack of health and education facilities in Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The CJP visited Mansehra District Bar Council en route to Balakot to visit the earthquake-hit city.
While speaking on the occasion, the CJP said that he was told that schools and hospitals were not operational in Mansehra. He expressed that his main motivation is Justice Ijaz Afzal who said that since it is the problem of his area, he cannot hear the case.
On this occasion, the CJP once again expressed his resolve to keep working for fundamental rights of people and not compromise on them.
Justice Mian Saqib Nisar is en route to Balakot to review uplift work and to hear the first-hand account of the deadly 2005 earthquake victims.
Chief Justice suddenly planned his visit while hearing a suo moto case pertaining to alleged embezzlement of funds entitled for the victims of Balakot and Mansehra.
