CM Khattak arrives NAB office for probe into KP govt’s helicopter use

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday has summoned Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak for allowing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to use government’s helicopter.
A five-member investigation committee headed by NAB director Naveed Akhtar has also prepared a questionnaire for the minister to probe him in the case.
The bureau has directed KP-wing to launch an inquiry into the report of private use of two helicopters to facilitate PTI chief.
It is to be mentioned here that the investigation team had already sent a summary seeking permission for probe against KP CM to headquarters.
Earlier, Imran Khan was accused of using MI 17 helicopter for visits to Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Battagram, Dir and Kamrat for 22 hours and Ecureuil helicopter for going to Peshawar, Kohat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chitral, Swat and Nowshera by paying only Rs28,000 per hour.
