PML-N rejects govt's condition for Nawaz's travel, decides to move court

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said elements threatening to shut down Islamabad wanted to hamper a process of national development and prosperity.
He said it was regrettable that conspiracies in this regard were being hatched within the country, a hanodut issued here on Friday said.
He said those involved in politics of allegations and lies were trying to mislead the masses and had resorted to undemocratic, unconstitutional and unethical tactics.
He said people fully knew that Niazi Sahib was not interested in progress and development of the country.
The chief minister said the conspiracy to destroy peace and destabilize the country would not succeed as the people were fully aware of negative designs of these elements.
He said that those creating hurdles in the process of investment and speedy development were enemies of the nation.
He said elements involved in sit-ins and promotion of anarchy could not tolerate strengthening of national economy.
Shehbaz Sharif said that these elements had been rejected by the masses and they wanted to take revenge from people for their defeat.
He said lockdown of cities results in loss of billions of rupees to economy and closing of Islamabad was economic murder of people.
Shehbaz Sharif said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a guarantee to progress and prosperity of Pakistan and power projects being set up under the CPEC would remove darkness from the country.
He said the leader of sit-in group had set records of falsehood and baseless allegations.
He said those engaged in sit-ins wanted to undermine economic process and deprive the poor people of their livelihood but the politically conscious people of the country would stand as a rock against the negative designs of the enemies of progress of the country. …APP
