LAHORE (Khyber News) – CM of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday stressed that construction of small dams for storing water is need of the hour.
Usman Buzdar, while chairing a high level meeting, said hundreds of thousands of cusec water gets wasted in Punjab; however provincial government is reviewing several options for construction of dams for effective management of the resources.
He added that construction of these dams will provide clean drinking water to backward areas.
