LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended the detention orders of the PTI leaders, who were sent to jail by Punjab government under 3MPO during court arrest movement.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh suspended the detention orders of the PTI the leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and ordered their release on the petition of Fawad Chaudhary.
The court also issued notices to the parties, including the Punjab government, and adjourned the hearing till March 7.
It should be noted that during the PTI’s court arrest movement, the police had arrested Shah Mehmood, Asad Umar and other PTI leaders and activists from Lahore and transferred them to other jails in the province.
