LAHORE: A judicial magistrate Thursday rejected bail applications of the 11 Chinese nationals and two Pakistanis in a case of alleged fake marriages, forced prostitution and organ trade of Pakistani girls in China.
After hearing arguments of the defence counsel and prosecutor, the Judicial Magistrate, Amir Raza, rejected the bail applications of the accused.
The defence counsel, Saleem Ahmed Khan, claimed that his clients were arrested in a fake case. He claimed that the FIA arrested his clients after fabricating a story. He said that the suspects came to Pakistan for business purpose.
The counsel for the FIA, Munem Chaudhry, argued that the suspects deceived Pakistani girls into fake marriages. They sexually exploited the girls after fake marriages, he argued. He requested the magistrate to reject the bail plea.
