LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif Friday filed a miscellaneous petition in a defamation case against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The petition, in which the PML-N president requested for the quick hearing of the case, was heard by an additional session judge. It was maintained in the application that the case is pending for three years.
The court issued notice to PM Imran Khan and summoned the answer by June 10.
