PESHAWAR: More than 20 people including criminals and suspected have been rounded up during search operations within the jurisdiction of Bhana Mari police station here in Peshawar.
According to a statement issued by the local police, weapons and narcotics were also recovered from some of the people arrested in the operations conducted in Gulshanabad and Gulshan Rehman Colony.
More than 40 houses were searched in the operations, the statement said and added that cases had been lodged against the arrested people.
The police said that they have also kicked off interrogating.
