CTD arrests five terrorists of banned outfit in Multan

MULTAN: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday foiled a terror bid by arresting four terrorists of a proscribed organization in Multan.
According to details, CTD personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation near Bypass Road and arrested four terrorists.
The terrorists were identified as Abdus Salam, Loaquat, Wajid Ullah and Muhammad Ahmed, who were shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation.
The CTD added that the terrorists were planning to target political figures in Multan ahead of elections.
Five hand grenades, arms and maps of sensitive installations were also recovered from them.
