CTD arrests two ‘terrorists’ in Peshawar


PESHAWAR: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Peshawar region has arrested two ‘terrorists’ and recovered weapons from their possession.
According to reports, the CTD carried out a raid in Sofaid Sang area of Peshawar and arrested two terrorists. The arrested terrorists were identified as Abdul Haleem, resident of Charmang, Bajaur, and Zakeem, resident of Bara, Khyber district.
The CTD recovered two pistols, hand grenades and other weapons from the possession of the accused.
The CTD registered an FIR against the accused under Anti-terrorism act. The arrested terrorists were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
